About the Felicia Melton-Smyth Gift Drive
Since 2002, the Felicia Melton-Smyth Gift Drive has worked to raise funds and donations for the clients of Vivent Health (formerly AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin) and their families who cannot afford to purchase gifts for their family. Local hero Felicia Melton-Smyth (honored by the Isthmus, Our Lives Magazine, Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, and President Bill Clinton for her charitable efforts) began this drive and worked to help Vivent Health’s clients until her passing in 2008. Dana Crumpton, a long-time volunteer, took up the mantle of the gift drive until his death in 2019. Now the Mad City Sisters, in partnership with the Shamrock Bar and Grille, strive to continue this very important work.
The Felicia Melton-Smyth Holiday Gift Drive is a project of The Mad City Sisters (501c3 nonprofit) and all donations are Tax Deductible.
